Chris Williams - Board President
You will rarely see Chris wearing a suit. He has always been more interested in “the who” than “the what.” The power of story has influenced his life from a very young age and Chris has incorporated storytelling into the work he does. He earned a Master’s Degree in Conflict Resolution from Portland State University and currently works in the Student Services Department for Portland Public Schools. He is the producer of The Turnout, a series of monthly shows produced and created by people from marginalized and often overlooked communities.
Garrett Warren - Secretary
Garrett Warren is a Creative Director at The Refinery Creative in Los Angeles and helps to develop innovative marketing campaigns for television shows, films, and brands. He has worked closely as a partner with brands like Netflix, AMC, Warner Brothers, Paramount, Sony, Apple, and Nike. He has a passion for the arts in all its forms and is driven by the opportunity to meet, learn from, and collaborate with incredibly talented, influential, and creative people. He has a borderline obsession with comics, pop-culture, and entertainment and making ridiculous videos with his son on social media.
Carla Cackowski - Board Member
Carla Cackowski is an improviser, writer, and director living in Los Angeles. She teaches improv, sketch, and solo show writing workshops. She regularly tours across the country with her two person improv show, Orange Tuxedo. Carla is an improv teacher at The Second City in Los Angeles, and is the Training Center Director at Mi’s Westside Comedy Theater in Santa Monica, California. She is the creator and host of the podcast, Improv Yak. Carla likes plants, La Croix, tiny houses, and naps. She loves, loves, loves Portland!
Pat Moran - Board Member
Pat Moran is a director, playwright, actor, teaching artist, and producer, specializing in theatre for young audiences. He’s the education director at Shaking the Tree Theatre and also the managing director and an artistic company member of Action/Adventure Theatre. He has also worked with Cal Shakes, Oregon Children’s Theatre, CoHo Productions, Hand2Mouth, Milagro Theatre, Theatre Vertigo, Northwest Children's Theatre, LineStorm Playwrights, Sight Educational Theatre, and more, as well as teaching, directing, and performing at theaters, schools, and educational programs throughout the Northwest. He is an Associate member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.
