Youth Program Instructors

Cimberly+Nickell

CIMBERLY NICKELL - YOUTH PROGRAMS MANAGER

Cimberly Nickell, a retired Nuclear Engineer, is the What the Fun?! Youth Programs Manager at Kickstand Comedy. She is originally from Oklahoma, so yeah she is technically a transplant, but she has lived in Portland longer than anywhere else. She has studied and performed at Kickstand, Curious Comedy and the late Brody Theater. Pre-Pandemic she could can be found regularly performing at Kickstand Comedy with her mainstage improv team Super-Natch and indie team, Couch (with the Portland pronunciation) Potato! Currently, she can be found performing virtually on Kickstand’s Facebook Live and Twitch Channels (Shameless plug!) Check us out at Twitch.TV/KickstandComedy

Molly Dennig

MOLLY DENNIG - YOUTH PROGRAMS FACILITATOR

Molly Dennig brings many years of summer camp experience to her role as What the Fun?! Assistant Facilitator. While new to the world of improv comedy (join her in our adult Intro to Improv classes at Kickstand!) her background in youth programs is extensive… all those camp skits, talent shows, and dance recitals have created a pretty strong foundation for this new endeavor. Molly's most recent experience working with youth has been with Camp Stomping Ground in New York, a camp dedicated to inspiring radically empathetic decision makers. There, she's worked as a summer counselor, virtual activity-facilitator (during the pandemic), and even a design teacher. She's got dreams in youth education, but these days, she spends her time as a Creative Director for Supply Design.

Are you a grown up?

You might have heard this already, but our adult classes are 🔥 … check them out!!
